Chapter 1
1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning the destruction of Jerusalem, and concerning the people who live in it.
2 And it came to pass, when I had completed these things, that I opened my mouth, and I praised the Lord of the spirits, and I uttered these words, saying, Hear, O Lord, my prayer, and my supplication is accepted. And I prayed unto God, saying, O Lord, give Thy servant a clean heart, and let my soul be cleansed from sin. And I wept much, and my heart was troubled, and I was grieved.
Chapter 2
1 And the Lord said unto me, Isaiah, thou art my chosen one. I have chosen thee, and I will make thee a vessel to carry my message to my people. And I said, Here am I, Lord. Send me.
Chapter 3
1 And it came to pass that I beheld the heavens opened, and I saw the brightness of the sun shining upon the earth. And the angels were singing and praising the Lord, saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts!
Chapter 4
1 And the Lord said, Isaiah, call upon me, and I will answer thee. Seek me with all thine heart, and I will be found. And I sought the Lord, and I found Him.
Chapter 5
1 And I began to write the visions which I saw, and to declare the words which were revealed unto me. The Lord was with me, and His spirit strengthened me.
Chapter 6
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple.
Chapter 7
1 Above it stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
Chapter 8
1 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory.
Chapter 9
1 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
Chapter 10
1 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
Chapter 11
1 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
2 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
